1.3 Task 4 My School Life

As a student at Westlake Girls High School, you have a general knowledge of how New Zealand’s education system and national examinations and assessments work, and you also have a good knowledge of Westlake Girls High School environment, the functions of departments and locations of buildings. You are chosen to represent school to go China with International Department to attend World Education Expo to attract high school students at Shanghai in China to go aboard to New Zealand to study at Westlake Girls High School.

During the World Education Expo, you could be asked questions about the (options) subjects’ availabilities, the year level and length of each subject provided and objects, equipments or instruments you normally use or activities you normally do in different subjects and lessons at your school, period’s segments and time allocated in a daily time table, school days and school terms arrangement, school home works, examinations and national assessments, marking systems, school departments and the functions of departments and locations of buildings, the attitude students should have towards their learning and school’s punishment system.
